Professional Certification in Ontologic Coaching Program (PCOCP)

Professional coaching is needed today more than ever as a critical tool for organizational change. Change is essential for people and organizations to grow and adapt to today's rapidly shifting marketplace, yet people and organizations are naturally resistant to change. Coaching can facilitate productive change in persons, teams, and systems by enabling leaders, managers, and employees to uncover potential that might otherwise go untapped.

At the same time, many organizations realize that the traditional hierarchical model of leading and influencing is no longer optimal to succeed in today's complex and dynamic marketplace. To adopt more relational, collaborative, and consultative models for leading and influencing, businesses are evolving to build coaching cultures that encourage organizational learning and adaptability. And coaching has emerged as the best way to help individuals learn to think and work together more effectively.

The ability to coach leaders is a core competency for those helping organizations to develop. Through coaching, leaders learn how to optimize the value of teams and organizations. Coaching helps clarify vision, beliefs, and values, and stretches the capacity to lead and influence. Leaders then become catalysts for change within their organizations.



Program Objectives

The Professional Certification in Ontologic Coaching Program (PCOCP) is designed to help students:

+ Learn how personal transformation occurs, through your own experience of transformation
+ Increase your ability to reflect, notice, and self-correct
+ Gain fluency in the domains of language, body, and emotion
+ Understand leadership coaching as organizational intervention
+ Define and practice elements of the coaching relationship
+ Assemble a coaching toolkit
+ Apply the concepts of adult development theory to your coaching and use of self as coach
+ Understand and practice team and group coaching .


We believe that effective coaches must engage in self-reflection and self-mastery as on-going practices - for development is a lifelong process. We hold that coaching must address the whole person: the mind, emotions, body, and spirit. Each of these is a source of wisdom and each domain is enriched by the other. We believe that each human being has a wellspring of innate intelligence from which deep qualities like presence, wisdom, common sense, resiliency, and peace of mind can emerge. From that belief, we coach leaders to see and respect the same wholeness in those whose lives they impact.


Program modules:

The Professional Certification in Ontologic Coaching Program (PCOCP) aims to aid in the growth of each individual student. The program is divided into 8 course modules, for a total of 8 months:

 Unit 1: Change your mind Changes the world.
In this first module we board an introduction to Ontological Coaching and Biology of Knowledge. We'll see how our paradigms and mental models are the way we observe and explain the world in which we live. They also determine our range of possibilities, because we confuse our explanations and observations with reality. Questioning and extend these paradigms is the first step to increase our chances of action, and therefore, the results we achieve. Learn the pillars of Ontological Coaching and how to overcome fear.


 Unit 2: Learning to learn. The way to success.
From our childhood and youth, we were taught that learning involves incorporating and repeat information. Confusing learn to accumulate information is wrong we paid dearly. Learning means increasing our capacity for action. Learning means to discover, develop, incorporate actions that deliver effective results. Learning to learn is an action potentiating effects of our abilities. This module will learn the necessary steps to achieve success in all areas of life actions. Also learn to turn anger into effective emotion.


 Unit 3: Leading your own life.
The results we get are the result of the actions we take. Our future is generated in actions of this. If our actions are reactive, will be the circumstances that touch us live that will determine our success and future. If our actions are proactive, be us who will determine the achievements and future. It is simply choosing a choice. In this unit we will learn the art of leading our life and integrate computers. We will develop the power and individual freedom. Also learn the usefulness of guilt, as a functional sense for ethics of living.


 Unit 4: The power of language. Practice of personal and team coaching.
In this unit we will learn how to communicate, how to coordinate with others, how to build and strengthen effective relationships, how to develop the power of words, how to dissolve conflicts. All these essential skills in the world today. Ignorance Ignorance of these attitudes is one of the main causes of a high degree of ineffectiveness and discomfort in other areas of our daily lives, from the staff to the business. Learn to walk the path of excellence and the art of coaching. Here began the practice of individual and group coaching.


 Unit 5: Making effective actions. Practice of personal and team coaching.
In this module learn discernment is the basis of wisdom and effective action. We will develop our ability to discern how to base our opinions, the ways in which we assess the situations, which are the bases from which to make decisions and plan actions. If our bases are weak, all built on them is also weak. We need to refine and affirm our discernment to build a strong and predictable future. Also learn how to leverage the envy and continue with the practices of individual and group coaching.


 Unit 6: Learning to listen. Practice of personal and team coaching.
Learn here to develop listening skills. Whether listening to coachedos, people with whom we interact, and the world around us. No one ever taught us to listen. We believe that because we have two ears that allow us to hear, we have the ability to listen. Learning to listen is the best investment we can make. Also learn how to get out of resentment and continue with the practices of individual and group coaching.


 Unit 7: Physical and emotional coaching. Practice of personal and team coaching.
This unit will work on developing emotional intelligence of individuals, teams and companies. We are practically illiterate emotional. We will develop the power of our emotions in a practical way. Learn how emotions can play in our favor, instead of being a constant source of conflict, discomfort and frustration. Learn everything you need to make physical and emotional coaching. We will make the latest practices of individual and group coaching.


 Unit 8: Designing powerful conversations. Professional application project.
En este módulo aprenderemos el arte de conversar: contratar, negociar, ofrecer, gestionar, planificar, diseñar, comerciar, acordar, promocionar, coordinar, crear... Son todos espacios de conversaciones (internas o externas), fundamentales para el logro de resultados personales o grupales. Desarrollaremos nuestra habilidad para crear y sostener conversaciones efectivas para el logro de resultados efectivos. Cada participante realizará un proyecto de aplicación profesional de lo aprendido.
